(Clan Caterpie has earned themselves some Thunder Badges. Christof and Dev are
now tagging along, and now the group is wandering Vermillion City... finding
themselves at...)
"The PokeMon Enthusiasts' Club!" Llama announced. "These people are pretty
much insane when it comes to PokeMon! They'd love to see ya Icy!"
Icy was hesitant, but gave in, "Sure! I wanna be a star!"
X reached for the door and found a flyer on the wall:
ATTENTION ALL POKEMON TRAINERS!!!
THE S.S. ANNE IS HOLDING ITS ANNUAL
POKEMON TRAINERS EXPO!!!
A 3-DAY PARTY OF BATTLES, DEMOS, AND FOOD!!
STOPPING IN VERMILLION ON FRIDAY!!!
"Wow!" Random said, "There will be some hot girls on that ship!!! Let's
go!!!"
"I don't see any reason not to" Black Hole responded. "But lets go inside
now."
The group entered the large building, it was exquisitely decorated, with
posters of rare and exotic PokeMon on every wall. An excited man ran to the
door...
"Hello! Welcome to the PokeMon Enthusiasts Club!!! Here we discuss PokeMon
philosophy and show off our fave PokeMon all day long!!!"
Llama cringed...
"Hey" Random said, picking up Icy,"This is Icy... perhaps you've heard of
him!"
"Of course, the Pikachu trainer!!! How do you do?"
"Pika!!!" Icy repeated into the translator around his neck, "fine! Thank
you!"
Random took to looking around the room at all the different PokeMon on display.
Random didn't know any of the names, unlike his co-travelers, who were
pronouncing their views on Dragon's and Mermaids...
One member of the club left the main group to talk to Random. "Do you know any
of these PokeMon?"
"Just Snorlax.."
"Oh... I bet I have something that could help you learn all there is to know
about the wonderful world of PokeMon... This is a PokeDex!!!"
"A PokeDex? Yeah, Dev has one..."
"But this one is special... It was one of Oak's first prototypes..."
"What's different about it?"
"It's a little bit more... insightful... Here" he handed the PokeDex to
Random, "Its yours!"
"Thanks man!" Random smiled on the black-clad computer.
"So PokeDex... who is this guy?" Random pointed to a photo of a Wigglytuff.
PokeDex responded, *Wigglytuff: a weak and freakish PokeMon. Has no real
talent and is used best for explosives..*
"Sweet!!! I love this thing!"
Random returned to the rest of the group.

But outside the window several men were plotting to spoil the fun. Team
Rocket: in search of Icy - the human in Pikachu's clothing!
