Last time, Icy went to see Bill, a pokémon researcher. Bill asked
Icy if he would participate in an experiment of his. Everything was
going fine until Team Rocket decided to barge in. They captured Bill
and a strange beam transformed Icy into a Pikachu. Moments later,
Insanellama, X, and Xavier entered the lighthouse only to find an
astonishing scene. And now...

"Which of those Pikachu belong to Icy, and where is he for that
matter?" Insanellama asked, not expecting an answer. Icy's Pikachu woke
up first.
"Pika. Chuuu. Kachupi," it said to Icy. Icy finally regained
consciences. The others watched as both Pikachus stood up. Icy turned
facing Insanellama and tried to explain what had happened.
"Pika! Chu-ka-pika-chuu-PI-chu-kachupi-KA!" His words didn't come
out in English as he expected. They were in Pikachu, but fortunately,
Insanellama was fluent in that language.
"What did it say Insane?" the others asked together.
"Yer not gonna believe this fellers, but that's no ordinary
Pikachu. It's Icy!" The others gasp. "He says that Bill was doing an
experiment, then he heard that big explosion and some strange beam hit
him. Team Rocket took off with Bill too!"
X began to wonder about what part he was playing in all this.
"That's terrible," he said.
Insane asked Icy where his pokéballs were and offered to hold on to
them. Icy gave him the pokéballs but kept two. (Pika) "I might need
these." (Pika) With that, they left the lighthouse in search of Bill.
Icy noticed some footprints in the sand and alerted the others. It
was a very sunny day and after following the tracks for almost 15
minutes, they stopped for a break. Icy had a strange hunger for some
apples and ran off towards a large tree. The others set up a small
picnic. Icy climbed the tree and found a big, round, red, juicy looking
apple. He grabbed it and began to eat it. Just then, he saw a Spearow
flying overhead.
From a distance, a trainer spotted Icy. "Cool! I wonder what a
Pikachu is doing all the way out here." He watched as the Spearow began
complaining.
    "Spearrrrow." (Give me that apple!)
    "PIKA. Pika-pi-chu-PI!" (No! It's mine!)
Spearow began to dive bomb Icy and as soon as it was only a few
inches from its target, Icy let out an enormous thunderbolt, frying the
Spearow. It fell to the ground. The trainer watched, becoming more and
more interested in the Pikachu. "PIKA! CHAAAAA!!" (You're mine
Spearow!) Icy grabbed one the pokéballs tied to his tail.
"Pi-pi-kachu!" He jumped down from the tree and began running towards
the Spearow waving the pokéball high above his head. "Pika-pika,
piiii-kaaaaa-CHUUUUUUU!!!!" he shouted as he threw the ball into the
air. Then, electrifying his tail, he slapped the ball full force at the
Spearow. It electrified Spearow as it captured it. The trainer was
completely amazed at this point. "What kind of Pikachu is that? I've
GOT to capture it!" Icy retied the pokéball to his tail, climbed back
up the tree, and began eating another apple.
The trainer approached Icy. "You're gonna be mine, Pikachu!" He
took Icy by surprise. Icy hadn't thought of this happening. The
trainer released a Diglett, impervious to electric attacks. "You won't
get away from me!" Icy thought for a sec, then realized he was in major
trouble. Then an idea came to him. He used his psychic powers to
teleport Abra's pokéball into his hands. The pokéball opened revealing
the Abra, who was ready to defend its master. The trainer was shocked
beyond belief. "A pokémon who can control and capture other pokémon,"
he thought. "Diglett, dig underground now!" Diglett disappeared into
the ground. "Pika-chu, chapika, chuKA!" Abra understood its Pikachu
master and waited for Diglett to surface. Abra sensed Diglett surfacing
and teleported behind it as it did. "PIKA!" Abra complied, send a
confusion attack at the unprepared Diglett. It struggled for a sec but
couldn't handle Abra's power. It fainted.
The trainer recalled Diglett. He had seen enough and ran away with
tears in his eyes. "Mommy! Help! It's a mutant Pikachu!!!" Icy gave
him a small thundershock, making the boy run even faster. Icy returned
Abra to its pokéball and rejoined the others. They were just finishing
their lunch. Icy went over to Insane and showed him his new pokémon and
told what had happened. Insane laughed and translated the story for the
others. They cracked up imagining how a Pikachu would look capturing
and battling other pokémon. They packed up, and set off again in search
of Bill.
